The zoo is open every day of the year except Thanksgiving and Christmas. Standard hours are typically 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. General adult admission is $35.99 for guests aged 10–59, and parking is $10. Discounts are available, including the Culture Pass, which can be obtained at the Columbus Metropolitan Library with a valid library card. This pass provides free admission for up to six guests. The zoo also offers military discounts and reduced-price tickets at Kroger locations.
For those looking for something extra, the Columbus Zoo offers more than 18 different guided tours. These range from the Cheetah Experience to the Red Panda Experience, with prices between $99 and $249. From late November through early January, the zoo transforms for its annual Wildlights display. This dazzling holiday event lasts nearly two hours, with options like a four-person cart tour for $299.
Food options are plentiful, with more than 20 different stands and restaurants serving everything from full lunches to coffee and ice cream. Restrooms, first aid, and shaded seating areas are available across the grounds.
