Ron Pero a Mortgage Broker in Columbus Ohio started originating mortgage loans back in 2001. During that time he has also worked as a realtor and a loan signing agent. He likes to say that at one time or another he has sat in every seat at the closing table.
In addition to writing and editing, Ron is a loan originator in his role as the branch manager of the Columbus, Ohio branch of Barrett Financial.
Outside of work, Ron is involved in the Latin community. As a self taught Spanish speaker, he enjoys salsa dancing in his spare time.
Ron Pero has always been good with numbers and finance. He even worked as a bank teller back in the late 80’s for the old Society Bank. During the 90’s he became a real estate investor purchasing several rental units. This experience helped to build his interest in mortgage loans until finally in 2001 Ron Pero became a Mortgage Broker in Columbus Ohio.
Working both as a mortgage loan officer and a closing agent—helping clients sign all of their loan documents at the end of the process—I often hear from clients how clearly everything was explained to them. Many say it’s the first time they’ve felt truly informed and comfortable during the mortgage journey.
This is what drives me as a mortgage loan officer. I understand that buying a home is stressful and overwhelming. It’s a huge purchase filled with confusing jargon, and I want to make sure every client feels confident that they understand what’s happening and know they’re not being taken advantage of.
